Hemp paper is a natural product; there are no toxic byproducts associated with its production or disposal; hemp paper does not need to be chlorine bleached. The first two drafts of the American Declaration of Independence were printed on hemp paper, and the Constitution of the USA was written on hemp paper. Today, hemp fiber and textiles are imported from the Far East and Europe. Hemp paper could save the lives of millions of trees a year and can stop the radical destruction of the earth's remaining forests.
